Jigardan Gadhavi crouched at the edge of the stage under red lights, reaching towards the crowd

He was writing tunes in primary school and training as a physiotherapist in Ahmedabad. The first film credit came in 2014; the first film he scored entirely himself came two years later. Since then the work has moved outward — from Gujarati soundtracks to independent singles to Navratri grounds on two continents.
